As a board certified plastic surgeon and a specialist in reconstructive surgery, Dr. Sameer Jejurikar is well known in the Dallas medical community. This is because his dedication to his patients and his finely honed skills make him a valued member of the Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute. Dr. Jejurikar, or Dr. J, as he’s commonly known to his patients, specializes in cosmetic surgery of the face and breasts. His work concentrates on the areas around the eyes and nose.
After graduating from the University of Michigan Medical School, where he was an esteemed member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, Dr. Jejurikar started his residency at the University of Michigan Medical Center. He also worked at the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, which helped him train for a subspecialty in aesthetic surgery.
Sameer Jejurikar belongs to several professional unions and organizations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and the American Medical Association. As a renowned plastic surgeon, Dr. Jejurikar has contributed to a number of peer publications. Among them, his work has been featured in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, the Aesthetic Surgery Journal, and the Journal of Surgical Research.

When he’s not working, Sameer is eager to give back by doing charity work at home in Dallas and abroad. As a participant in the Smile Bangladesh program, he takes a trip to Bangladesh each year to help less fortunate children. Here, at home, Dr. Jejurikar can often be found spending his time doing missionary work and trying to help those in need.
